Our Talking Toddler

Over the past couple of months, we have noticed how much and how well Ethan can understand words and directions. It's been amazing to watch him learn new words and to repeat words after us. Here is a list of words he can say:

"ma" or "mama" = mom

"da" or "bba/ppa" = dad

"wawa" or "mul" = water

"yoo" = milk (he can sign it, too)

"ball" = ball

"wow" = wow

"mo" = more

"ddo" = again

"men" = amen (after a prayer)

"plis" = please

"yah" = yes

"no" = no

"ba bye" = bye

"dis" = this

blows a kiss = thank you

In the past couple of weeks, he has learned to put a couple of words together. He often says "my ball" when he sees a ball in books or around and about. He has learned to say "plis" on his own when he wants something and especially when he's eating, he'll ask for "mo plis." =)
